i Chekutty i dolls were crafted in India from the saris that were found and collected after the floods that devastated the state of Kerala in 2018. These dolls became a symbol of the tenacity to overcome the tragedy and inspired this set of nine Christmas ornaments of three different sizes handcrafted from viscose in white with delicate embroidery work done with rayon and zari yarn. Polyfill is used for the dolls' heads while colorful cotton cords serve a double purpose as decorative scarf accents and for hanging on the tree. The set presented by Asha Prabha comes with a polyester pouch that allows for storing the ornaments.
